This was the retirement cake for Gerry Ringwood from a very long teaching career. He ended his career at Tri Tech Skills Center, where I worked for the 2012/2013 school year. The cake had different flavors on every layer, spice, chocolate, red velvet, and strawberry. The different layers of the cake represented the different stages of his life. The base was his schooling at WSU, then his teaching at Finley H.S.and FFA years. His time at spent at Tri Tech and then ulitmately ending with his retiremet and his ability to enjoy the time with his wife. I worked on this cake with Brenda Buroker. It was a lot of fun and as enjoyed by many people.
